What is Sex Coaching?

Sex coaching is a talk-only approach to guiding individuals in the pursuit of deeper sexual fulfillment. Our conversations focus on the present and are directed by client-driven visions for the future. Many of the modalities that we incorporate into sex coaching are based upon evidence-based techniques from sex therapy, but we do not work directly to process trauma, we do not pathologize or diagnose our clients' issues, and we very rarely ask the question, “Why?”

I focus on direct conversations about sexuality, anatomy and pleasure. I offer specific guidance to break unhelpful narratives, enhance communication, debunk myths, and encourage self-expression. I refer out to other qualified professionals when client needs fall outside my scope of practice.

Coaching is all about eliciting your true needs and desires while guiding you forward through actions that feel directly empowering to you.

Examples of Coaching Needs:

  • Life/ Body Transitions

I work with all ages and genders to support reclaiming sexual pleasure and/or satisfaction after major life events, diagnoses, and transitions such as aging, injuries, pregnancy, disabilities, gender transition, hormonal changes, menopause, chronic pain, etc.

  • Desire and Pleasure

    Desire and Pleasure

Gain insights into pleasure anatomy, libido, arousal patterns, and discovering personal preferences and desires in both partnered and solo sex. I bolster my client’s abilities to assert needs, boundaries and desires confidently.

  • Gender and Sexual Orientation

As a queer person, I am passionate about supporting other individuals in their unique explorations of gender and sexual orientation. I know how easy is is to feel intimidated, stuck, or scared to really be who you are. I am always honored to provide guidance and support for other LGBTQ+ folks.

  • Kink, BDSM, and Paraphilias

I support clients in sexually relating in any way that feels authentic. Whether that's finding acceptance and permission in your unique interests, exploring fantasies, looking for practical skill enhancement or increasing risk-awareness, I embrace all diverse sexual interests.

  • Painful or Uncomfortable Sex

I provide practical steps and resources that can help you thrive exactly where you are while taking small steps forward. This may include working alongside a pelvic floor therapist, gynecologist or urologist.

  • Non-Traditional Relationship structures

I welcome individuals and couples from all relationship structures and backgrounds for support in communication, negotiation and conflict resolution within polyamory or other dynamics.

  • Support for Sex Workers

Whether it's working to find a balance between your work and personal life, industry-specific self-care practices, or general coaching that aligns with your goals and desires, I provide a confidential space to talk freely about your experiences.

  • Sex Ed Tools for Parents

I coach parents who want to provide safe and supportive sexual health resources to their children in ways that feel more comfortable.

What does this process look like?

Step 1: Book a 60-Minute Introductory Session

  • Schedule a free, virtual 60-minute discovery session to discuss how somatic sex coaching may align with your specific goals. This is also a chance to experience a taste of what coaching is like. You can book this session here.

  • If we decide to move forward in the coaching relationship, we will book our first official session. This may be conducted virtually via Zoom, Google Meet, or in person. This can include outdoor settings for regular clients.

Step 2: Review and Sign Client Guidelines

  • Before our next session, read and sign the client guidelines, payment, and cancellation policies.

  • You may choose to fill out a sexual history intake form. This can be immensely helpful for both of us to gain more insight on how to move forward.

  • Send completed forms back to me.

Step 4: Attend Your First Official Session

  • We will work with whatever is most present for you at the time of the session and see what unfolds. This may involve some grounding exercises or intuitive guidance and visioning, with time for action steps and reflection towards the end.

Step 5: Continue Your Coaching Journey

  • Many sexual concerns take some consistency and patience to work through. You may wish to continue the coaching process at a weekly or monthly frequency. Discounted packages are also available and can be negotiated.

***This work in no way involves nudity, sexual contact, or the exchange of explicit content of any kind. I am happy to refer my clients to a qualified sexological bodyworker or surrogate partner therapist if deemed appropriate for reaching specific goals.***
